Company description:

Frolific Curls is a nourishing hair care range, made from a combination of natural and organic ingredients. The name Frolific Curls suggests abundance or plentiful kinky curls, derived from the word “prolific”. Their philosophy is not a complicated one. To achieve your hair goals, keep things simple and do so naturally!

This natural and organic start-up was created, launched and marketed by owner Sivuyile Magwentshu who created the range to enhance and celebrate her own happy healthy hair.

Project scope:

  • A new online store build, with a very limited budget.
  • The site owner wanted a platform that was super easy to use and update herself.
  • A WIX template was chosen and modified to suit the brand.
  • Shopify LITE was implemented for the shopping cart and integrated with the WIX website to create a seamless result.

Creative strategy:

  • Fun, vibey stock photography was carefully chosen to showcase women with natural curls and to appeal to the brand’s younger target market.
  • Bold colours were used to highlight main headings and call to action buttons
  • Products are displayed on a white background, in keeping with the brand’s clean feel.
